New opportunity: Compensation available for open access publication costs

From 1 March 2026 onwards, researchers can apply for compensation to cover open access publication costs for work resulting from a KiKa grant. Hereby, KiKa aims to make research outputs more accessible.

To support open science and ensure that research outcomes become widely available, KiKa offers compensation for open access publication costs. Compensation can be requested for manuscripts resulting from new, ongoing, and completed KiKa research (pilot) projects (completed within the past two years).
